No CASE TOO SMALL, SOME CASES TOO BIG
If we’re being honest, most cases are too big.

We are a husband-and-wife private detective agency in St. Louis, MO. Our day job is making candles, but we're only busy with candles around the holidays, which leaves us with plenty of time the rest of the year for fighting crime!
A cup was stolen from an office bathroom in Clayton, Missouri, on September 1, 2023. Please contact us with any information you have that might lead to the recovery of the cup. To see a picture of the cup, click here. To receive updates on our progress with the case, sign up for our monthly newsletter below.
Unless you are the cup thief. Then please do not sign up.
In some ways, we feel as if we’ve been detectives our entire lives.
Sure, whatever you want.
Zero. But we’ve only ever had one case, and it’s still ongoing. So while our success rate is 0%, our failure rate is also 0%. In fact, now that I think about it, our success rate in not failing to solve cases is 100%.
It depends on how much money you have to spend on private detecting.
I would say it is neither “just” a way to market candles, nor is it a “sneaky” way to market candles.
Stolen items of limited monetary value (yard signs, food items in break room fridge, etc.)
Mysterious neighborhood sounds/smells
Missed Connections-type situations, as long as you promise you’re not a stalker
Vandalism (investigating the commission of, not carrying it out)
“Who keeps letting air out of my tires when it gets cold out?”
“Is trash pickup on the normal day this week, or is it a day late?”
“Who should I vote for?”
